SERVICE DELIVERY & COVID-19 PREPAREDNESS
In addition to the communications sent in the previous months we would like to update on our processes to continue providing essential care while ensuring the highest level of safety for patients, their families, and our staff.
1.Hours of Operation: The Muthaiga hospital continues to operate 24 hours every day. The satellite (outpatient centres) now operate between 8am and 7pm Mondays to Saturdays and 9am to 7pm on Sundays.
2.Continuity of Services: In line with international best practice, the Ministry of Health guidelines, and our own internal protocols, we continue to provide all our regular healthcare services at all our facilities.
3.Visitors to the Hospital: Because of the prevailing COVID19 situation in the country we allow only one parent/guardian to accompany patients to the hospital’s outpatient facilities and we do not allow visitors to visit sick patients in the wards except two identified family members.
4.Holiday Season Surgical Packages: As has been our tradition, we offer discounted packages for elective surgeries during school holidays. The current offer runs between August 1 and September 15, 2020. For more information on this click here or call 0701321111; 0730645311/2/6.

- We continue to implement the highest level of infection control and prevention at all our facilities in view of the global Covid19 situation.

- We remain vigilant and have made adequate preparations, including isolation and critical care facilities, to provide the highest level of care for any patients with Covid19 that might come to us for care.
